Aliona Koroliova

Aliona Koroliova works in the field of abstract painting, exploring inner human states through color, rhythm, and texture. Her works do not depict the external world, but rather evoke its sensations — silence, tension, movement, and pause that arise within.

In her practice, the artist works with layering, combining transparent and dense layers of paint. Through this process, she creates a space where forms appear and dissolve, leaving only a trace of experience. Color in her work functions as a language — intuitive, free from direct meaning, yet capable of evoking a deep emotional response.
